Code of Ethics
TVK News adopts the journalistic norms set out in the Press Council of India's Norms of Journalistic Conduct and the Cable Television Networks (Programme Code) where applicable to digital news aggregation.
Accuracy
- Every published claim links to its original source
- Claims are cross-checked against at least one corroborating source where possible
- Items flagged by Google's Fact Check API are not published
- Corrections are issued promptly and visibly when errors are identified
Fairness
- We do not publish content that defames any individual or political party
- Content is positive-biased toward concrete government actions, not political opinion
- Critical content about opposition figures is filtered out, not republished
Transparency
- The site is operated by an independent supporter (not the TVK party)
- This is clearly stated in the disclaimer on every page
- AI/synthetic content, where used, is visibly labelled
- Every page lists its sources of evidence
Independence
- The site does not accept funding from TVK or any political party
- The site does not run paid promotion or sponsored content
- The operator's editorial decisions are not coordinated with any party officer
